Job description – Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling: Develop project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors for efficient project execution. Ensure compliance with local regulations and building codes.
• Team management: Recruit, train, and supervise construction site personnel, including labourers, subcontractors, and other workers. Assign tasks, set goals, and provide guidance to ensure productivity and adherence to project schedule.
• Budget control: Monitor expenses, review cost estimates, and track project budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to optimize project costs.
• Safety and compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure work environment. Regularly inspect the site for potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Quality control: Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to high-quality standards. Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Communication and reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and government officials. Provide regular updates and progress reports on project status, challenges, and solutions.
• Problem-solving: Identify and address project issues, such as delays, disruptions, and obstacles. Develop and execute contingency plans to resolve problems and ensure project progress.
• Documentation and record-keeping: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical drawings. Keep track of all project-related correspondence, change orders, and documentation for future reference.
